Samedi 6 decembre: Saint Nicolas

St Nicolas day was a busy day. It actually started the night before as we started to trim the Christmas tree. During the night, St Nicolas graciously left loads of presents for Alice, a WII fit and jewelry case for Sylvie, and abolutly nothing for the self proclaimed naughty guy.

After opening all the presents, we dragged Alice to the theater in Wilmette, to see Mrs Claus "live". Alice was thrilled to see Santa at the end of the play, and that her name of on the list of good children.

We dashed home to feed a starving Alice and after much convincing, went sledding. Defeating all expectations she did not nap, and was way too exited when Emily, Chris and Sage came for dinner. The kids rearranged Alice's closet (and not a la Martha Steward) while we were watching saturday night live (not live) and Steven Colbert.
